Spaghetti alla Bolognese

I love making a really great and slow-cooked pasta sauce, but I really can't stand to have a pot on my stove all day long because somehow it all comes out burnt.  Because of that, I decided to make a bolognese sauce in the crock pot. 

My mom gave us a pack of good sausage, so I cut up onion, carrots, celery, and added tomatoes and tomato sauce.  I cooked it for a few hours and then at the very end added a touch of cream.  The result was so delicious.  It was a great Sunday evening dish.

I am sorry to say that David grew up on spaghetti sauce from a jar! Yours always sounds better!
