Getting Ready for Christmas!

On Sunday we had our annual tradition of getting ready for Christmas by decorating our house the weekend after Thanksgiving!  It was a lot of fun and we watched It's A Wonderful Life, which is one of my very favorite Christmas movies.  Doesn't the ending get you every single time?  What a great movie.
We had a debate in our house about putting up more than one Christmas tree.  I wanted to put one in the basement this year, but instead we decided to defer buying one until after the holiday season with the hopes of finding one on sale.  Do you decorate multiple trees in your house?  We certainly get into the Christmas spirit around here by decorating and blasting Christmas music during the evenings.  It is Paco's favorite holiday!

I have to offer one word of caution on waiting to buy another christmas tree - we attempted to do that last year and by about two weeks before Christmas almost all of the stores were sold out of them already! They mark them down pretty deeply before the holiday so you may want to look sooner rather than later, or they may all be gone! Just a thought :)

We only have one tree, but I always think it's neat when people have two. It always takes me so long to put up our tree and decorations as it is, for a reason I can't figure out! I am not a very efficient Christmas decorator! In the background on your picture, it looks like you have a pretty gold ribbon as a garland on your tree. I really like that!

RoRo said we finally got rid of our OLD Christmas tree last year~~the kind you stick the tree linbs into the colored pole! We bought one after New Years at the Local Hardware store. It is pre-lit and is awesome and just the right size!

RoRo, we have that kind of tree, too, and every year I wonder if we should get one of those pre-lit trees with the branches all attached! It sounds like you would recommend it!
